Theatre has always been part of my life. At the tender age of 4 years old I was a ‘ruby jewel’ in the pantomime Aladdin directed by my mother, and my sister played Aladdin. All through my growing up years I was either acting or dancing in some form or other. When I moved to Cornwall I became involved in many operatic productions and summer seasons for FAODS, followed by being a producer for Duchy Opera on tour, and treading the boards as well.

It was in the early 90s myself and my dear friend Frances Mills formed our own theatre company, PALOS. We had 10 wonderful years of varied productions and venues. Cabaret, Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Noises Off and Chorus of Disapproval at Falmouth Arts Centre; Vivat Vivat Regina, Pygmalion, Our Country’s Good at Trelissick Gardens; The Lion in Winter, The Lark in Truro Cathedral for The Three Spires Festival. All this was funded by my credit card! We never made money but always managed to cover our costs.

I am not known for doing things by halves and believe in doing things to the very best of our abilities with commitment and most importantly FUN!I look forward to meeting you all and putting on the play Blithe Spirit.
